Hello everyone, I'm driving to our holiday home in January to start for a couple of months in our car towing a trailer.
The trailer will be a single or twin axle max load 750kg. I believe this means it won't need any supplimentary documents, ITV etc? Over 750kg does though I think?
Are there any other requirements I need to be aware of?
I'll ensure my Breakdown service are aware I'm towing

I have worked in Britain for a number of years, but not having fully researched the pros and cons of moving to Spain, it is now a bit of shock to learn that our private pensions will be taxed in both countries, we may be worse off under the Double Taxation Treaty? I'm completely lost as to how works in practical terms.
Would anyone who has experience or knowledge of the above please very kindly tell me how it works.

I have lost contact with a lady I met in Mercadona, who hails from Co Longford.
We introduced ourselves, and I belive she is called Noreen/Doreen. I took her telephone number, but FORGOT TO SAVE IT! So if you are out there we could rendezvous next Monday at 6.00 pm at cafe Iruna at the very beginning of Alfonso Sabio, (close to the shop selling handbags) I will also be there at the same time the following week.

Hi all, my wife and I are planning on moving to Spain in the New Year when our visas are through. We are currently now renting in the U.K. and may have to rent in Spain in the short term if we don’t find a house to purchase soon. So far I’ve only transferred small amounts into our Spanish bank account but ultimately will need to transfer a. a large amount for house purchase, and b. smaller amounts as our monthly income from our UK pensions.
It’s probably been asked before, but can anyone please offer advice on who they use for these transfers both the large lump sum and the smaller monthly amounts.
many thanks

I lost my husband’s wallet yesterday in Alicante either in the underground car park near the Marina or the Alcampo in Plaza Mar 2. We know that the wallet has been found by French couple who tried to return it to our home in Murcia. However, our security gate could not accept it. Someone took a photo of my husbands TIE card and put it on a WhatsApp group that we are not members of but a friend is. He called us this morning and that was when we knew the wallet was lost. We are in Alicante as my husband is in hospital and we are not sure when we will be leaving. I had his wallet in my bag for safe keeping (how ironic). Unfortunately security did not think to get the telephone number of the couple nor did the person who took the photo and posted it. Obviously it has cards driving licence and TIE. This has just added to more stress that we are going through whilst he is in hospital and I feel totally wrecked about the whole situation. I’m reaching out in case anyone my be in contact with the kind couple who did try to return the wallet.

I have a selection of all the classic UK and US situation comedies, UK and US Drama series and some UK, US and Spanish Films and documentaries. They are all in nearly new condition.
I have attached photos of the list of the names of the DVDs and the prices for each DVD is on right of each page. Offers accepted of course.

Hi, just wondering if anyone can advise on this one:As we both now have Irish citizenship and hold Irish passports, we may decide to stay in Spain outwith the 90/180 day rule - periodically. Now, bearing in mind that Ireland is not in the Schengen Area, do we still need to register at our local police station in Pilar de la Horadada even having already established a house, bank account, annual tax payments and registering with the appropriate authorities e.g Notary, gaining a registered NIE number?
Ps, we're not residents, we don't intend to be - we only own a holiday home and use it for ourselves. Thanks for any informed advise on the above.

Hi all, after been a victim of robbery to my property 3 times now, I have today had a security system put in place. Wished I had done it sooner to be honest. It was always another bill. When I look at the cost to me on this occasion of approximately 10,000 euros, I just had no option now. And when I read some of the post of late it tells me organised crime against property is AA big industry here in Spain and the Police don't even take a report. With this 24/7 system your property shouldn't fall into the hands of robbers and squatters. I will leave the company name and contact of the installer he can give you a no obligation quote and advice regarding this system
