Hi all

After living in Spain for five years and now having my permanent residency card processed can anyone confirm that I will now be entitled to join the Spanish healthcare system as per the below extract of how to do it from the UK Gov website? I´m not working or at pensionable age yet?

If you’ve been a resident in Spain for 5 years or more, you can apply for permanent residency. This will give you access to state healthcare on the same basis as a Spanish citizen.

Once you’re a permanent resident, you need to register for healthcare at your local INSS office.

You’ll need to show a ‘legislation letter’ (‘documento de no exportación’ in Spanish) stating that you are not covered by the UK for healthcare. You can request this by calling NHS Overseas Healthcare Services.

The INSS will give you a document which you need to take to your local health centre.

If anyone Spanish or otherwise has been following this story 

An evicted elderly disabled woman, who has become symbolic of Spain's housing crisis, will be able to return to her home in Madrid, according to her lawyer.

Maricarmen Abascal, 87, was forcibly removed on a stretcher from her apartment of more than 70 years on 23 September. She was admitted to hospital after the eviction.

It’s all over the news and shows the protests against any foreigner buying a property in Spain is unjustifiable seeing this state of affairs. This lady was asked to pay over five times her rent to stay then the company matched her only income as rent. They are now forced to give a contract near this lady’s last rent. At this stage of this persons life plus that she has been there 70 + years what does this say to anyone about the rental market in Spain? It’s worth noting that she has been there since birth and took over the rental when her parents died so in reality that’s 87 years.

 Personally I’d say she should live her life out free from rent or just a pepper corn rent of €100 per month. So you know this was in Madrid and an obviously greedy new property owner decided to be stupid. They deserve all the bad press they are getting.

Can anybody please advise me where I can buy security cameras with solar panel and wifi to reach a distance of 3000metres?
It is to cover all of my property. I do not want subscription costs.

Do I need to first obtain permission and licences from my local city hall?
It is to deter the nasty threatening man, and film (with audio) him as factual evidence. 
My local city hall urbanisation development and planning department are preparing a thorough report to confirm if any of the streets are private, public or mixed.  At a glance they do not think that any of the streets in my area are private. They will notify me when they are finished.
