Alicante tram parking

Hi peeps
My 60th birthday is coming up fast, but I currently(!) have mobility issues - walking any distance is a major struggle, and my wife's birthday is just 3 days later.
I would like to explore the tram from Alicante to the north (of course). I can drive with no problems.
So - can anybody tell me of any stops on the tram line with plentiful nearby free parking? That rules out Alicante itself!
