Moving to Spain - Where is right for me?

Hi folks, I am aiming to move to Southern Spain, within reach of maybe Alicante Airport (1-2 hour drive). My budget is limited (£60,000 max including tax, legal etc) and I am a very practical DIY person, so looking for something that is liveable but a project. I don't want to live in a town and need some land to create a safe area for my own dogs who will be coming with me, I like quiet country surroundings, but in reach of quiet coastline would also be wonderful
I am a Canine Coach and Therapist also a Human Therapist and Craft worker.
Where would you recommend i look? what areas?
I have Jims guides as my bedtime reading currently but would welcome any and all suggestions.
