Is that the current location, as you can track iPhones. Report to the Guardia and see if they will intervene.

Pickpockets make a good living from stealing phones.
With the "modern" idea of carrying expensive phones in back pockets it makes for a bumper payday for the thieves, sim took out in seconds and the phone sold off within hours makes it untraceable.
A warning to others who may read this thread, keep phones out of sight and in a zipped up pocket.
