Relocating Costa del Sol (East) to Costa Blanca (South)

Hello
I have already had helpful replies to questions on specific areas I posted last week (thanks) but I now have a more specific question and am looking to see if anyone has done this, with their experiences.
I am considering selling the holiday home in Nerja (Malaga East) and buying on the Costa Blanca (South).
I realise the geography and style is very different between the two areas but as it’s becoming a more irregular holiday home used only 4 times a year by us and by other family at other times am looking at other options where it appears you get far more for your money.
Any thoughts from those that have done it and the areas they considered would be greatly appreciated.
