Has anyone got any advise on buying in altea la vella. We don't understand why some villas are so much cheaper than others and also the best legal assistance we should get to ensure we actually own the property and no later problems

I can recommend my solicitor in Albir.
Orlando Torregrosa at Albir Abogados. Maria is his assistant.
Salvador Vidal Fernandez is a terrific Notary in the same street.
I'm not sure why villa prices would vary much in Altea la Vieja though, I'd have to see the detail. I used to have a property up on the golf course, it's a beautiful area.

They are great.
I have found a great difference in price, however the biggest problem is wasting time on properties that have already been sold. Those that have been on the market for a long period are eventual are reduced in price.
