Hi All,

My ex carer still has my villa keys & my car. Whilst the Guardia have been notified & my Abogado has been instructed, the keys & car are still not returned.

The date for return was some weeks ago.

There has been every excuse under the sun used, to not return these 2 items.

Has anyone had a similar experience & if so, can you advise of a sensible way forward?

Many thanks

So far, there is nothing illegal. According to Spanish law, there is nothing "stolen". You will have to notify the lad by means of notary public your intention to recover your property. Such instrument is a "Requerimiento notarial". In case of no reaction, and only then, you can take legal action.

Thank you, but my abogado has already notified her, she has promised to him, to return the car & my villa keys, on 3 occasions, but has failed to do do?
