Sun Loungers

Do you have anywhere to store your loungers and cushions when you are not in residence? Over the years, I bought covers for them which duly rotted in the intense heat. Some White loungers will discolour and you cannot remove the little black mildew makes. We bought lovely new ones a few years ago which are the same as those for rent on the beach. Great idea as you don’t have to use the cushions which get discoloured and grubby. Sadly, not being here to cover them, the mesh on all of them had faded badly.

The Siesta group sell top quality rattan furniture which won’t be cheap but with care, should serve you well. You can buy good quality covers from them which are not supposed to rot like the green ones I brought out with me!    ( Los montesinos and Quesada both have these shops)   We bought our table and arm chairs there and they are top quality and luxurious .

Yes we do have somewhere to store them so hoping they'll last us a long time.

Sun loungers are the bane of my life, the sun just destroys them eventually. I must have spent  £1000's on them.

I decided from two years ago that I wouldn't buy any more. I now use double blow up mattresses and so far they have served me well........and a lot more comfortable.

My next mission is to buy a couple of hammocks that I have in the UK. The stands can stay out and the material can just be washed.

Of course this is just my humble opinion.

If you do find some that don't fade, break or just look crap after 12 months please let me know.

Agreed about cheap....

I think I paid about €120 each for mine regularly. They were like the beach ones but still not good enough.

Just had my villa refurbished because I want it how i want it so may invest in some of those.

Was supposed to come out last Thursday but still in hospital due to snapping my ankle in three places.....bloody awful. All plated now so hopefully be out in 6 weeks to start my residency process. 

Need to get my thinking cap on about a business to stop the boredom. After having a good few months off of course.

We take everything indoors when we leave.

Been in spain 18yr and still have the same loungers. Bought in ELIG Elche near Carrefour .
