Does anyone have knowledge of a potential Spanish tax benefit of selling a property in the UK one year and buying one in Spain the following year.
I have been told that if I sell in the UK and buy in Spain the same year, they tax you in Spain on the UK sale??

If you sell your primary UK residence after you become tax-resident in Spain, you will be liable for CGT in Spain.
So sell your UK home before you become tax-resident in Spain.
