AVOID........DO YOU SPAIN ....At all cost ......still take money for excess ,its a huge CON ,,,,,,so many people at airport got ripped off while we were there ......AVOID THIS COMPANY

We have used Firefly into Almeria and they were great. Gave us an upgrade as didn’t have the car we booked and no extra charge. They were the most reasonable price.

Use www.blancacars.com All inclusive with full cover, no deposit, no excess. Free door to door delivery anywhere on Costa Blanca North and at Alicante and Valencia Airport.

Blanca cars VERY expensive in comparison to my previous (Record Go) who I think have priced themselves out of the market for their full package BUT I am still going to use Record Go, BUT I will take justa basic car package and pay the excess 1100euro and take out an independent excess policy in the UK to protect my 1100Euro deposit,  Just did a quote (see pic below) based on 17days on cheapest car available at today's date is JUST 74euro or £65 plus the cost of my Annual excess policy £38, I use a company called Bettersafe (who have confirmed to me in writing they have a very low claim rate with Record Go), I've just had an email come in today for a 50% discount, annoyingly they have removed the option to reserve online and pay on arrival, now they want your money upfront at time of reservation !  So as far as I'm concerned VERY cheap rental, OK if you have a prang or ding a wheel they will charge you, but you get it back from your excess cover policy. NO BRAINER for me. Best of luck whatever anyone decides, but one last word we have used Record Go for over 5yrs now and NEVER had an issue of any kind so it will be interesting to see IF not buying their "premium package" which they call Comfort Cover without excess makes any difference, but at over 200euro cheaper for the same car over the same period it kinda hard not to keep the 200euro in your pocket that a good few meals out in my book !   Best of luck folks

Hi there, does anyone know of somewhere I can find a cheap and reliable car rental, most places are over 400 euros for two weeks, from 30 Sep-14 Oct, even the one I use regularly is over 500 (Recordgo) ?

Easy collection and return with their meet and greet service, full cover, no deposit, and no credit card required. They also offer free door to door delivery all over Costa Blanca North in Spain.
