Move to area - couple of questions

Hi,
My husband and are moving to Benichembla next month and would just like to introduce ourselves. Can anyone tell me if there are many British expats there - our Spanish is virtually non-existent at present though we are hoping to learn, of course. Is there a fresh food market there?
