re homing cat

Hi, my mother in law has due to I'll health re located and down sized from a Villa to an apartment, while at the villa she had a lovely cat who mainly lived out doors. Since the re location the cat hasn't settled very well and now my mother in law thinks it would be best for her and Poppy if she was re homed.
I would be grateful for any information on pet adoption schemes or a re homing centre my mother in law lives in the la Cala. So looking for any where in the Benidorm, Altea, Albir, Alfaz or vila Joyosa area.
