We have an apartment in Benidorm but no wifi currently. We bought a router, took it over and bought a Spanish sim with data on to watch TV but it didn’t last very long. We are a little clueless when it comes to tech stuff, is there an unlimited data sim to do this as a pay as you go or something other than wifi to do what we want as we don’t want to be paying out monthly when we aren’t there??  Thanks 😊

Try Lobster, they have places all over Costa Blanca  and are an all in English company. Look on the internet. They have good offers on all the time. You can stop and start when you like. Although we have internet at home we use our data outside all the time. We pay €12 per 28 days and at the moment have 12 gigs. I know people do watch Tele with their plans

Don’t bother with mobile data. Get an internet connection from a local internet provider.

They nearly all offer a switch on and off system, which you only pay for when you are using the apartment.  Some even provide the same with tv services, although you can normally get a better TV system  elsewhere. But if you take out a subscription to IPTV, I  would recommend subscribing for 6/12 months and then taking the device backwards and forwards with you. You have the benefit of being able to access everything when you’re back at home as well.
