There is a bus service from Alicante Airport to Alicante bus station that runs 24/7. From here you can connect to Benidorm. I have attached 2 screen shots of bus times to Benidorm from Alicante bus station.

There is a new desk set-up in arrivals that offers taxis or bus to Benidorm. As you exit the baggage hall into arrivals just veer right.
