It's not a race Jack, vaccinations are carried out as determined by the country medical authorities. Spain is where it wants to be with vaccination status at the moment, as reflected by the low number of covid cases.

To be honest thats rubbish. The cure was a worldwide thing and was made by pfiezer biontech which is a German company. Believe all the spin you like from the UK government. Afterall they are the country that now says its all over but millions day are still contracting covid.

"Cure"?  The vaccine isn't a cure, it reduces the worst effects of Covid-19 in those that catch it, thereby reducing the chances of transmission to others, but none of the vaccines are 100% effective and there are other vaccines with higher efficacy than the UK's AstraZeneca jab, such as Pfizer BioNtech.

I'm at a loss to understand the point of your post.  You appear to understand little about Covid-19 and you're even less interested in understanding the explanations of other members 🤔

Hi,

agree your comment about Jacks statements being rubbish, they are, but where did the UK government say that covid was all over? If they thought that why would they be rolling out successive booster programs?

Maybe the point of Jacks simplistic posts are to wind people up? Must be good clickbait for the forum website though.

It was a remark by Matt Hancock. Who stated the pandemic in the UK is over.

'Matt Hancock has been ridiculed for alleging that the Covid pandemic is over in the UK, even as the death toll continues to climb.'

An interview with Beth Rigby on Sky news.

I know of several people who have had severe symptoms and yet some with side effects or that even died in the days following Covid jabs…illness is a risky business

Probably rightly ridiculed but he was not in government when he made the statement, having resigned the year before.
