Benidorm, best of both worlds, has frequent Spanish and British visitors, the town is a friendly mix of all nationalities, all your health needs, plenty of employment for those who require it,certainly worth looking at as a couple it covers all the bases.

"plenty of employment for those who require it"

I agree with your post as I love living in Benidorm but there are many people out of work. Covid took its toll on the smaller bars and although things are finally getting better there are not so many job vacancies.

Many bars and restaurants and many shops advertising for staff,as I said, plenty of employment for those who want it.

If you say so but I personally know several people who have tried to get jobs and are finding it difficult.  A lot of advertised positions have undesirable conditions attached.

Hello

You know better than most  tebo53  because you live there.!!

What kind of jobs are these, firstly are they legal, because the fines for anyone employing people illegally these days are really  high & not worth the risk for either party.

Do these places require spanish speakers, are they temporary, do they give contracts etc?

People coming to Spain  (non EU passports )without a guaranteed job  will get maximum of 90 days, not ideal is it when job hunting?

If you give people ALL the details regarding work & not just window advertisements, it might not look so attractive .

Cheers
