Hi,

Was hoping that someone may know the whereabouts of the two guys that have the above named company. They are based in La Nucia . They installed a bathroom in our place in Benidorm in the summer, and we are still waiting for them to come and put a whole lot of issues right. They seem to have vanished , been trying to email, ring,and their Facebook page has gone. The upset and distress that they have caused is awful and we are left with a bathroom that my 7 year old grandson could have done a better job on. Do we have any chance of redress from any organisations does anyone know?? Just seems so unfair as we played the game with them. If not, if you are looking for any renovations please be wary of this firm...……..

Little chance of redress unfortunately I would think. Did you obtain official ‘factura’ (invoice) from them, showing company registration number? If you did, then possible you could report them to the equivalent of trading standards in Ajuntamiento, but they won’t take action as I understand they just keep records. You could also try private prosecution, but would not advise this as you will be entering on a long and very costly system.

In the end you may just have to pay another firm to come and rectify it. I understand how upsetting this may be and do sympathise,but sometimes all you can do is to cut your losses. Perhaps employ a properly registered Spanish firm, many of them do have some knowledge of English.
