You will probably have been a victim of the very many professional pickpockets that scour Benidorm. They make a good living from stealing purses and mobile phones.
There is at least one post every single week on this forum about "lost" possessions.
You need to report it to the local police. Take an interpreter with you otherwise they can't help.

Hi Steve,
I wouldn't bother replying to these posts anymore as most of them have only just joined the forum and notice that you give the same reply every time so they do it again to see if you respond. Don't bother with them they are not worth it. :-)
