I appreciate things are more difficult during the pandemic and attending classes is out of the question, but I am trying to learn Spanish and  I am struggling to stay focussed & with dedicating time to learning on a daily basis.

I have been / am using Duolingo but I am bad at keeping up with it on a daily basis.

I learn better in class, with interaction - which is obviously not possible right now!

I have books but I want to learn how to speak it (correctly) as well as listening to it being spoken.

If anyone has any advice for me, about learning Spanish I would appreciate it.

How long have people lived in Costa Blanca for, with not knowing or speaking much Spanish? I'm interested to know.

I live in Rincon de Loix, Benidorm.

TIA.

I'd recommend to check out the Public Language School here http://mestreacasa.gva.es/web/0301616100

I learned Spanish here in Spain w/o lessons or whatsoever, took me 3 years and, then, was good enough to study Law. Everyone over 25 and 45 can access Univeristies passing an admission exam.

Wow! Thank you.

That sounds amazing; that would be so ideal if I could learn in  that space of time!

I am at an age where I struggle to retain information  - why I prefer to study / learn in a classroom environment, with interaction from other students & tutor. However, with the virus I know this is not possible.

Thank you, I shall definitely look into it.

Kind regards,

Sonja

Thank you  - at the moment I still don't have transport to get to La Nucia ( another issue I am trying to resolve!) but I can look into public transport (perhaps?).

Kind regards,

Sonja

Hi,

I have looked at the website and it appears it is only suitable for those already practised in the language; I cannot find anything for beginners?
