Hello all,

Is anyone aware of the latest income or bank balance requirement for an EU Citizen early-retiree without a pension to get a residency permit for an family to live in Benidorm?

I have read in some places that you need to show a certain bank account balance. Something like 20k euros required.

However, in other places it says you need to show 800euros monthly income per person. So my wife and our son would need to show income of 3x800= 2400 euro per month?

Anyone have a government website link showing the latest asset/income level?

To reside in Spain since Brexit you will need to show an income of €27,115.20 for the first person and an additional €6,778.80 for each additional person.

You will need full healthcare cover paid for a full year for each person.

Thanks for the reply, but I was referring to the requirements for an EU citizen, not a UK citizen.

Do you know where I can find the official financial requirements for an EU citizen?

Just found this on Google and hope it helps:

People also askHow much money do you need in the bank to get Residencia in Spain? You will need to prove you have maintained a minimum of circa €7k in an account for more than 3 months by presenting an Average Balance Certificate from your Spanish bank. We also recommend 3 months stamped statements from the bank
