The parades will be on Jan 6th, three Kings day.  Our Christmas not so much as they have a meal Christmas Eve and then a family day with walks and church Christmas Day. Kids now get a present or two our Christmas Day (due to TV) but mainly on Jan 6th.

Turkeys and hams are in abundance. You can order fresh turkeys for collection from most butchers plus supermarkets, of course, will have the frozen ones. Hams (although the Serrano type) are a Christmas tradition in Spain but the York type hams are also readily available.

Consum and others have ham on the bone which they will slice for you and plenty of others to choose from.

All of the towns will have a 3 Kings parade on Jan 6th ranging from huge ones in Torrevieja to smaller types in Benijofar and Quesada with quite a large one in Rojales and the churches will have a Belen (nativity scene plus lots more) outside. You must see the one by the church in Torreviaja and the one in Rojales is also impressive.

Butchers will have extras but you would have to take the size they have left. Booking in advance means you can choose the size but it may be pot luck on the Friday before Christmas Day.

The 3 kings arrive on 5th[El Día de los Reyes Magos, It is an event that is celebrated on the night of January 5th. The actual day of the Three Kings which is January 6th.] (Epiphany  "Twelfth Night" as either 5 January or 6 January, depending on whether the counting begins on Christmas Day or 26 December.)

Personally I've never found any Spanish ham which compares with traditional UK ham off the bone. Consum sell something close but it's still far from authentic.

There are English butchers where you can buy sliced ham but in common with much of what they sell aimed squarely at the expat market you can pay for the privilege, sometimes heavily!

Gammon joints are available in most 'English' supermarkets though so making your own ham is a doddle, it's what I do.
