Morning, we have sold our property in the UK, and purchase a Villa in Benimar. We had life cover with our mortgage which has now ended as we have no mortgage. We are looking for life cover . ( for over 60) We are moving to Spain in June. Can anyone recommend a company for us. Thank you

Would recommend Right Move Insurance in La Zenia
I have lofe cover here in the UK, as does my Mum.
My Brother, Mum and I are shortly emigrating to Benimar to live together with the hope of a better quality of life. We were both concerned about what would happen to our lofe insurance Policies thst we have been paying in to for may years as they have no cash in Value. I called both Scottish Widows and Legal & General, who both confirmed that as long as we keep up the payments from an English bank account, then our ife insurance Policies are still valid irrelevant of the fact we will be living in Spain.
A slightly different scenario to your situation, but thought I would mention it in case others are in a similar position to us and wondered what would happen to their existing life insurance Policies.

Hi Joy & Steve, you will need the NIE for getting a life insurance, but that shouldn't be a problem if you are thinking to move here.
Thanks for that. Yes we have our NIE number. I have done our house ins through the bank but they will only do life cover if you are a resident , which we are not yet. Thanks again
