Do I need private health care to apply residentia if I’m under 65?
As title says do we need to have private healthcare in place before we apply for our residentia if we are under 65?

Yes but being 65 is not what makes the difference, its being in receipt of a UK state pension.

When you live here on a permanent basis and applying for Residencia you will require Private Health Insurance for the first year paid in full if you are not in receipt of your State Pension. I can recommend that you speak to Alfonso at Gran Alacant Insurances, he is English speaking, very helpful and professional and will be able to talk you through all the requirements and what is and isn't covered by the Insurance. We used his services and were delighted with the help he provided.Check their advert on the Forum or use the link below.
