We are holidaying in Los Altos in August but have family staying in Cabo Riog, what is the best mode of transport to use? What is the public transport like, do buses run late in the evenings, are taxis readily available ?. We do not want to be spending a fortune on taxis. Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I think it woluld take 2 buses to do that journey - one from Los Altos (Line D/F) into Torrevieja area and then another from there to Cabo Roig. The last buses during summertime are 11pm and as for taxis, well August is the hottest & busiest month of the year so availability of taxis is difficult to predict
