Hi all, I am looking for information from anyone who has been on this tour please?

1. Would you recommend it?

2. Is it possible to go on the tour using public transport from Cabo Roig.?

Thank you in advance.

Hi, yes I would recommend the tour.  It starts in front of the Plaza Waldo Calero in Torrevieja.  I think it's €9.50 per person now.  Have a look at the website www.vistasalinasdetorrevieja.com fro times etc

Hi, we were looking at these tours when last over but they hadn’t yet started for the season. Has anyone done the other route, think it goes to La Mata?

Thanks Julie

We’ve also done the trip and enjoyed it. For the money it’s worth it

If you've ever got the local bus from Torrevieja to La Mata I think you'd be disappointed as you won't see anything you've not already seen.  If you've only got the time to do one trip I'd recommend the salt lake one instead.

The little train brings back happy memories! When my husband was celebrating his 70th birthday, we arranged a party for him. Everyone was invited for drinks at our house and unbeknownst to him, the little train arrived and stopped across the road.  It was dark at this point and we tied balloons to the front of it. Everyone got on board and away we went.  I’d booked a restaurant along the coast so away we went. The driver tooted at everyone we passed, people were all waving and we waved back. My husband still talks about it as it was absolutely wonderful. The train pulled up outside the restaurant and the people inside must have been flabbergasted to see us all get out and enter the place. Money well spent!! ( there’s a child inside all of us)
