I wouldn't plan on flying out just yet. Just because the UK has said international flights will be allowed, that doesn't mean the country you are flying into will let you in.

As it stands at the moment only Spanish residents are allowed into Spain and I haven't heard any news to say that it will change in the near future.

I "think" the state of emergency here lasts until May, so restrictions can stay in place until then.

Hello

You're quite right Dazz, the current State of Alarm in Spain  is until 9th May 2021 - who knows what will happen after that!

Cheers

I'm guessing that the date of Spain's welcome of holidaymakers will be based on

- vaccine rollout in Spain (slow at present)

- agreement on some sort of vaccination certificate/passport

The way the vaccinations are going here, I'd expect it to be late Summer at the earliest before tourists are allowed into Spain. Just my gut feeling, there's nothing to back it up.

Personally I think this summer is a no go for tourists to Spain the target of 70% of population being vaccinated before tourists are allowed in seems unachievable at present roll out rate.
