Last few days I have had to login to the forum. Has anything changed?
Nothing changed here either on PC, Tablet, or phone.

Have you got a cleanup utility running? If so, you will have to login after that has run, as the cleanup will have removed the cookie planted by the forum. I use CCleaner on a weekly basis, but I've set it to save all my login cookies.

If by ip you mean iPad, then I don't know.
Another possibility is that you're using your browser in incognito mode.
