Hi

I'm looking for advice on the best way to get to the mud baths from cabo roig. Also I'd like to know if there's bars and cafe's close to it as well

AP7, N322, RM-F32. There are loads of cafes.

Head south on the N332 and follow the sign into San Pedro. As you enter the town with the promenade in front of you, turn left. As you go down there you’ll see an old Spanish windmill. Park up anywhere near. There is a king walkway with wooden steps down into the water. People usually leave plastic containers to gather the mud which is only present at a few spots approx. 10 metres out from the steps. You’ll know it when you feel it as it has a slimy feel. Re bars etc there is one just across from the windmill if I recall. There are others further along the beach front.

I think you will find that the mud baths are in Lo Pagan not San Pedro. If you take the n322 towards San Pedro but at the roundabout with a boat on it which is before you get to San Pedro and take the 3rd  exit off. You will see a large Lidles on the corner.  This will take down a large and clean looking road. You will take two roundabouts but just straight. The mud baths are on the left just as you enter the main area where all the restaurants are.

I stand corrected. The mud bugs are indeed in lo Pagan.

Good directions. Take foot wear for wading into the water, can be a bit stony. The worms in the mud are good for exfoliating the skin.

I personally would not recommend for a fun day out because they are really only supposed to be be therapeutic. For a fun day out you would be better going to a water park, especially if you have children. It really depends on what you expect as a fun day out. Are you a complete stranger to the area? And are you mobile.
