Private Doctor Cabo Roig area
Hi all
I need to have access to a private doctor (preferably English speaking) for my daughter when we come over to holiday home in Cabo Roig . She has an eye condition which can flare up at any time (iritis or euvitis) and has to be seen by an ophthalmic hospital Dr (the procedure in U.K.). They will then decide whether it is iritis and if it is , prescribe steroid eye drops which clears it up.
In U.K. GPs can't prescribe the steroids as it needs ophthalmologist to check it . When she gets an outbreak we go straight to the eye hospital .
I am worried about her getting it over the summer when we are here . Unfortunately , the hospital won't give her any steroid eye drops to self medicate (they used to but have changed policy ). I wd like to sign with a Doctor who could advise us what the procedure would be if she gets an outbreak in Spain. It's not that rare a condition that the hospital in Torrevieja won't be able to deal with it .
