Unfortunately a lot of people booking with a company like holiday lettings will have no idea that the transport offered by property managers is not legal.

What about the genuine cases where people are collecting/dropping off friends or relatives? Are you saying that, if stopped by the police, the driver is likely to be fined??!!!

That's OK. We all pick up family or friends. The police may ask who is in the car but if they are genuine friends /family then you will know.
Genuine cases are just that, genuine, this is about hire and reward and both the driver and passengers can be fined.
