I need 1 A/C unit replacing( the other 3 are fine)The original ones are Panasonic installed about 14 years ago. Doesn't need to be the same make ?
Would want an approximate price for a new one or if available a reconditioned unit, I'm trying to keep the cost as reasonable as possible.

Hi Tizzy,
It will obviously depend on the size, but I got quotes last autumn for a new inverter unit for a bedroom and they varied, supplied and installed, between €540 and €580. Hopefully, someone in your area can recommend a fitter.

My A/ C unit is a small - average size, certainly not large.
I had one price given to me, which was much more expensive than the ones you were quoted. Really hope l can find a fitter in the Calpe area.

Like Kimmy, we had a few quotes last year for a single split inverter unit for a bedroom, and went for one at a cost of €530 all in, done by a company based in Guardamar. All quotes were in the range of €500 to €600, so expect to pay within this range.
I wouldn’t go near a pre-conditioned unit - if indeed they exist- there won’t be any manufacturers warranty for starters

If you can get a good unit offering cool, hot and dehumidifier, go for it. Every room should gave an aircon unit in this country. Money well spent.
