Life in Catral as an Expat

Hi Everyone,
We are a couple mid 40s looking to relocate to Spain, we have not explored Catral but have found a property we are interested in to do holiday apartments, is this a tourist area, what’s around for tourists, are there small shops in the village, bars etc,. Is there any expats living here that we could meet up with when we are over in a week or so to have a chat about Catral life! Many thanks Marie
