As I stated in my previous post, I cycle on the road everyday and am also a driver but the motorist/cyclist argument is an ongoing issue not only on this forum but also on UK fora and it will never be resolved as both sides believe they are in the right.
Running red lights and not stopping for crossings are a no no for both motorists & cyclist yet both do it. I have seen many motorists using mobiles and yes even some cyclists while riding on main roads with fast moving traffic.
There are selfish individuals that will always feel they have the right to do as they please whatever the cost to anyone else.
As the poster above says nothing will change so just get on with it.
