We are exploring the area of Catral next week with a view to moving to the area, can anyone advise what the impact of the motorway has on the area. Noise etc?

We love living in Catral.wouldn't move anywhere else. What are you looking for. Are you looking for schools. Are you going to rent or buy. Plenty of places to eat. Tapas bars Spanish style. English bars with food. Italian, Indian lots of places and surrounding areas 25 minutes to airport and 20 minutes to the beach. It has everything. If you have further questions glad to help

Moy, really appreciate the response thank you, we are looking to buy and are visiting next week to look at properties.

My question related to the proximity of the motorway to Catral and what impact it has on the area, noise etc etc.

Are there any areas that should be avoided?

Best wishes

Andrea

HI Andrea, the motorways as so quiet around hear they are not busy like the Uk but no its so quiet here its bliss. We live just outside of Catral 5 mins in the car. I've not heard of any and have lived here for two years. Unfortunately my husband has to go back to Uk for 7 weeks and I am going with him 😞 otherwise we could have met up. Anyway explore and enjoy. The Spanish people are so friendly around here as well Moy

Thank you Moy, really appreciate your response, maybe in the future we can have a coffee on our terrace fingers crossed.
In the UK I make novelty cakes for Birthdays, Weddings etc, do you think there could be a requirement for this type skill?

Best Wishes

Andrea

Hi we have been living in Catral for nearly 12years the silence is bliss. Might get a few cockerels early morning but then it is country life.

Hope you find your dream home as we did

Hi, we moved to Catral a year and 3 months ago and actually live quite close to the motorway, it can be heard when the wind blows in one direction and not so much when blowing another. It realy is nothing like living next to a motorway in the UK,you hardly really notice it to be honest. We dont consider it a problem what so ever. Feel free to PM me and I'l answer any of your questions no problem. Catral is lovely, good luck
