I am looking for some advice if anyone can help, I am interested in moving to live in Catral and have seen a property for sale in the area of Camino lo Chicharra, Catral. Does anyone know this particular area of Catral and if the properties built there are legal. I have read some disappointing stories about the Catral area and some good. Thanks in anticipation.
Go to the Town Hall (Ayutimiento) or good solicitors, land registry, All helpful.
Check with the Town Hall as to whether a property you like is legal. There are lots of illegal property in Catral. I live in one which was bought off plan 13 years ago and has yet to be legalised.
From experience friends and neighnours have had do not believe the estate agents regarding this. Go to the Town Hall and they are very helpful.
