COVID testing in Caudete?

Hi all,

I am traveling to Spain from the United States, arriving 1 Aug and returning to the States on 21 Aug. It's a happy occasion as I learned during the lockdown that I have three half sisters who live in Spain! I will be meeting them for the first time face to face during this trip.

Although I have been fully vaccinated, the U.S. requires us to provide COVID testing results in order to re-enter the country.
I know that I can get this done at the airport in Madrid, but I might prefer to have it done in the area of Caudete, where two of my sisters live.

Question: is private testing available in the area? Of course I will not qualify for Spain's national health service.

hello we are travelling from England to our second home on caudete Wednesday znd beed to book a covid test in soain before we fly back to England.is there anywhere local to do this near caudete please ? x

I reached out to my sister in Caudete. She tells me that there are local pharmacies that will do the test for you. When you arrive, check one out and let us know 🤞🏻

I won’t know until I get there in August.

Hi. Have you managed to find out what test you need please, antigen, PCR, LFT? Also have you managed to find anywhere in Caudete where you can get one please?

hello yes thank you its €30 at the chemist in bullring and only need antigen test to go back to UK. thank you .

My Antigen test was 15 euro. I got the results and documentation the same day.
They were kind enough to add date of birth + passport number as required for US re-entry.
