I’m not sure I can agree that “being gifted untold wealth and opportunity” is the yardstick for covering yourself in glory. How does that work? You have money and opportunity and therefore mistakes are unacceptable? You don’t have untold wealth and opportunity so mistakes are acceptable? ...

...I don’t believe it’s that simple 🤪🥂

It isn't the yardstick, but it sure as hell is a good leg up when it comes to doing the right thing, something large portions of the Royals have consistently resisted. We're not talking about mistakes but the use of power and wealth to enable you to do what the hell you like.

BOBTASTIC you win the award for unnecessary and rotten remarks. What satisfaction do you get from this? Is there any family in the world that can say they are perfect? It saddens me to read such a cold hearted comment. Who are we to judge?  None of us are perfect.

Absolutely. Few are perfect. But in general, the Royals have taken being imperfect to levels most would end up rotting in prison for. Some may choose to ignore the realities of the monarchy in the UK, I'm not one of them.

Would you care to say what, exactly 🤪🥂

Seriously? Are you asking because you are not aware (impossible to believe) or just because you want it spelt out?

How about one of the more recent high profile incidents. Andrew's refusal to speak to the FBI? Do you think if it was anyone else, implicated in a global child sex trafficing scandal, do you think they'd also have been able to avoid an interview for this long?

If you need more from recent times, how about the Royals influencing laws to protect their hidden wealth and how they amassed their recorded wealth?

That's just two from the last few years. There are many many more. But I suspect you already know all this, and like a lot people choose to ignore it?

The Royal family abide by the rules when it comes to official pomp and ceremony. No other Country in the world have that. The funeral was the best you will ever see and with covid still around I guess the Queen at 94 would be more at risk, so it may have been at her own request to sit alone. It only took 45 minutes and after she would have had her family around her. I love to see the troops marching, band playing and the choir of 4 were fabulous. God save the Queen

I quite agree, she will do what is expected and won’t want to think she should be treated differently, but you do get them who would complain, I thought the service was lovely , and the piper how lovely and the last  post.

They probably haven’t, even the Queen waited for her turn. And even if they have all had the vaccine, it doesn’t mean that they still couldn’t pass it on to her

She is vaccinated 🤦🏻‍♂️

Maybe she just didn't want anyone from her family near her. I mean, if that was your family, would you? None of them have exactly covered themselves in glory, despite being gifted untold wealth and opportunity.

As far as am aware the only suspected criminal is Andrew, the nut job who doesn’t sweat 😆

Our anthem is awful! Compare it to wales, Ireland, France Italy etc! Awful!
