Thank you. Yes I could have stayed but I live in quite a remote area and if I got sick I would have no one to help me so my family wanted me to come back to the Uk. Tbh I think I would rather have stayed in Spain as it seems to have looked after its people much better than the fiasco going on here.

Hi Karen
As per my post we are leaving the North East on the 4th July heading to Ashford for the night then transiting through the tunnel and finishing just north of Pau on the 5th, hopefully the borders will be open and Spainish allowing brits in we will arrive in Villamartin early evening on the 6th I will post our progress as it happens and if it happens so everyone knows what to expect.
