When are the vaccines been given to the general population?

Where and when do we get the information?

Be nice to know , stay safe

This was reported in El Pais this morning, Valencia authorities are investigating cases of three mayors who were "irregularly" vaccinated for the coronavirus despite not being in the priority groups for inoculation. They are the mayors of El Verger, Els Poblets & Rafelbunyol, one of them has ...

...stated that he was offered the chance on the first day of vaccination, and did not think twice about it.

Talk about I'm alright Jack and sod the rest of us.

It is better that they are vaccinated if it is available instead of the stuff being destroyed.   Many Spanish mayors have direct contact with townspeople.

With regards to when you’ll get your vaccination, join the rest of Spain and wait to be informed. Like you and everyone else, I’d like to have mine too. Saw on tv this morning that Gloria Honniford got hers yesterdsy ( she’s 80) and Angela Rippon is getting hers today. ( 76)  Northern Ireland is doing very well. Our surgery did 60 per day last week so imagine the over 75’s will get theirs in the next week or two and then it’ll be my turn. Hooray!

I imagine they are doing their best in Spain but read today that everyone over 64 would be getting theirs by the start of April. Just be careful and continue what you’ve been doing and don’t risk being in contact with people you don’t normally associate with.

One of my brothers in the UK got his this week and he is 71.   He was also given an appointment for his second jab.

You are not alone , it’s the same in France ! Supposedly started rollout last Monday with bookings on line all gone till March because of lack of supplies / everybody trying to get appointments. So we now act as we did in the first lockdown and only go out when necessary, avoid people as much as possible and shop only once every two weeks and ALWAYS wear a mask when outside ( still not mandatory in France except in shops ) .  All we can do is play it safe and wait and keep 🤞🤞

Hi,  the attached report was in El Pais a few days ago. The plan is to start the 80+ vaccinations from March. Not sure if the reported delays with the Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines will have any impact to the plans.

Rgds,
