Hi everyone.

We are hoping to relocate to Spain as soon as house sold in UK. We have seen a lovely property in Crevillente and was just wondering if you can tell us the good, bad and the ugly about living there. We will need good Internet as we will continue to run our Uk company etc. Covid as hindered our searches as we would of been out a few times by now. We are determined to be there by end of year! Any advice will be welcome. Martin & Jayne

We live in crevillente.  Part of the mountain community. Been here nearly a year now. We have our 12 year old daughter with us, and a few more pets lol. We love it here  we wouldn't move for all the tea in China. Beautiful town lovely people good schools. Plenty of amenities.  Very near Elche with a Mall. Primark etc. 25 mins from airport and beach. Wifi not a problem at all. You will love it here. Best of luck from Sophie, Mark and kaylee

Hi

We sold up in Punta Prima in an urbanisation 2 years ago, and bought our current property in the campo in Crevillent and it is the best move we ever made. We have been here for a while due to lockdown and decided to make the move permanently too. The scenery, the mountain views, the peace and quiet, the fresh air....what more could you want? We have our internet with Crevinet, much better than the first provide we had.

Hope you will be as happy here as we are.

Hello

We live in the campo of Crevillent and I notice that Crevinet is offering a speed of 100 to 200 Mb at a reasonable price.  We are currently with Telfy (Catral) and have 20 Mb which is plenty for our purposes.  Crevi is a great place to live!

it's not the prettiest of towns.  Nearby .Catral is much nicer with Expat bars and more supermarkets as well as Tapas  bars, Indian & Chinese Eaterys..Also it's MUCH .easier to park + I recommend Bankia (my bank) there as well as at least 2 chemists.

I'm a  UK retired Spanish Resident and I submit a Tax return so can recommend my accountant...only 30  Euroes .Good luck!!

Thank you for taking time to reply. Yes we are also looking at Catral . My husband is actually viewing a couple of properties this time  nxt week. :). Thank you for info on banks etc as its a minefield . We will have to do tax returns so your accountant sounds v reasonable. We were told a lot of properties in Catral not legal so its something we would have to definitely check but I'm sure that's what you pay solicitor for.

Hi i have lived here fir just over a year in the Crevillente campo. Perfect for dog walking with beautiful views of the mountains and the flat plateau below  of Catral and further beyond. We looked at houses there but still prefer our quiet surroundings here with a 5 miniute drive to the town of Crevillente.

Hi again Jayne, if you get in touch when you are here, I am happy to show you around. Crevillente is a lovely spanish town, nestled at the bottom of the beautiful mountain. It is however very spanish, which we love, however if you want a good mix of English and Spanish closer to the coast would be better. We came to be spanglish lol. Speak the language and integrate into spanish life. Good luck. X
