This is all so interesting. Hubby and I have been here a year now, in Cuidad Quesada, but have been thinking that we would prefer to be in a more Spanish area/town, and have started to look at other places (including Catral). So will maybe check out Crevillente now too! So thanks very much for this info Sophie and others. Oh, and good luck with your search, Jane.

Need any help, please do not hesitate to ask. We are extremely lucky in this area. Most beautiful scenery, and we have had nothing but lovely experiences with the locals. Even the school took an English speaking teacher out of her class to translate for our daughters enrolment, as our language skills where limited at that time. We have had nothing but good experiences in the 11 months we have been here. Glad to help in any way.
