Hi, we are considering installing Solar panels. We would like advice from anybody that has installed them and can they recommend the company and confirm benefits, prices etc.   Thank you.

Give Christoph a call at Clean Energy Solutions. Located San Fulgencio commercial area.

They installed a number of installations on our community. Off-grid, grid-tied etc.

Probably not the cheapest but best equipment, installation and support. Give him a call, then call another 2 companies like we all have done, we all ended up with CES.

Thank you for this.  What sort of money did they cost.   Can you tell me - was it worth getting the panels in.   Did you get batteries.  If so how many panels and how many batteries.   What money do you pay to your electricity provider.   Thank you for your advice.     Mary

Hi there we have just had sola fitted, via Iberdrola. We thought by organising by Iberdrola as we already have an account with them, also my husband has the Iberdrola app, he can see how much we are using and how much goes into the grid to be paid back to us. The sola plus fitting cost just under €7000 minus over €2600 rebate probably in 12 months time. We had 8 large panels. Our past bills were around €80 per month and expect our bill will be around €35 a month. Everything was an easy process, the fitters were very professional and made a very neat job of fitting them and tidied up after them. The rebate won't be on forever so I advise you to get them sooner than later

We have had solar panels for about a month now. We contacted Clean Energy solutions but they could not fit for at least three months at the time of our enquiry. Contacted Iberdrola and after 10 days had to chase for an appointment from a representative. Visited by a young lady who did not seem to have any technical knowledge but said we would be contacted by an engineer. After waiting we went elsewhere and after researching settled on a company Mariposa Energy with an office in Alicante. We have capacity for 5.5 Kw from 10 panels. Cost about 9K but with subsidy in the future. All fitted and up and running. It is amazing. Our usual pre solar bill showed us using 450 to 500 Kw for a month. Our last bill for solar we paid for only 80Kw and the cost including standing charges, approx30 per month as we 9.2Kw potencia, €45 instead of about €110. When we start receiving credit for power sent to grid we will be even lower. If you want contact details for Mariposa please let me know.

Jay, thank you for your reply.   The information is invaluable.    We have seen Mariposa on Facebook.   We have a couple of companies coming out to us so we will see how we get on.  Will keep you posted.   Regards & thanks.   Tom & Mary
