We are looking to purchase a holiday villa in Denia and a few properties seem to hav e the oil storage tank within the basement area. I tend to assume this cannot be a problem otherwise it would not be allowed nor so prolific but my wife is concerned re fire safety etc. Anyone got any experience on this or views please.
Perfectly normal in many countries and nothing to worry about at all.
Heating oil is essentially diesel which is near impossible to ignite in liquid form.
If it were to go up then it would be a conseqence of a major fire caused by other factors which would probably already have done for you if you hadn't got out!Thanks, much appreciated
