bank charges

Re bank charges with Bancopopular. Having a bank account for many years with this bank - pension paid in monthly and all utility bills etc paid out - find that the charges have been astronomically high for a six month period - as a pensioner this was never the case before. A total of 148.80 euros for 6 months taken out (297.60 euros for a year???) Anyone else out there experiencing this - as can't get any sense or help from bank. Jan
