Need help finding apartment in El Campello

I recently moved to Spain. I need an apartment to rent right away as I cannot longer afford a hotel. Do any of you have a guest house for rent or know of a place I can rent immediately (could afford around 600 euros/month). Although I have a source of income, I have been unable to get Social Security to start depositing the monthly benefits to the bank account in Spain. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hi

I can't help with accommodation, but what exactly is the problem with benefit payments? Are you trying to get them paid into a Spanish bank account? In the meantime, are they not being paid into your UK account (I'm assuming you're British?).

Are your benefits considered to be exportable by the DWP?

Have you been receiving benefits before the current problem arose?

No, I am not British. My SS benefits come from the USA, and although I've followed protocol requesting the deposit into a Spanish bank, the benefits are still being deposited to the US account; hence, I am unable to probé source of income in Spain.

But my immediate need is renting an apartment. Thank you Steve.

You could use an online bank to transfer your benefits from your US bank to your Spanish one, including currency conversion - many people (including me) use https://wise.com/

That wouldn't prove the source though, but I doubt if the Spanish authorities actually require that?
