Looking for volunteer(s) to visit English gentleman no (friends or family) living in care home in El Campello.
English gentleman in permanent residence of a care home in El Campello who has no friends nor family to visit him or talk with him. I have been helping him over the last couple of years as a volunteer with the Help of Denia & Marina Alta charity, but our area of cover only goes as far south as Calpe. It appears that there is no similar charity organisation in the El Campello area, or if there is, I cannot find it!
He is the only English resident in the care home.
He has been there for nearly two years now.
Is there any organisation or any person or people that would be willing to visit once in a while? Do the odd bit of shopping for him (he cannot go out independantly, is mostly wheelchair bound), drop off the occasional freebie news paper?
I hope there are people - or even people who know people, that can help with this.
