Rod, when you go into the NHS web site where you can see when you had your jabs and type and QR code there is a facility there to download the information. I believe the QR code is updated every 30 days as part of the security information.
I don’t think the QR codes were scanned at Eurotunnel, only viewed
Your vaccination record is not available on the Wales NHS site, but i phoned and got one sent out on a nice piece of A4 which took a week to arrive.
Apparently it will be available by July the 1st in Wales, but don't hold your breath as i think Drakeford will be happy for people to be stuck here forever....

...ere. Anyone not in this position, and not feeling so secure in, what could otherwise be, a wonderful life, would not understand.
I didn't mean to come across harshly but thousands of Brits have been out here for years living under the radar and all decided to apply for residency at the last minute which created a large workload for those dealing with it, I went to Alicante to have my prints done and there were hundreds of Brits there, when I went to collect my TIE they had boxes containing thousands of cards. It's not a simple job checking that many people out in a limited amount of time and finding the staff to do it. The UK have created these problems and made us all 3rd country nationals, I didn't vote for it and I guess you didn't either but that's where, I really hope you get things resolved, we recently met a really nice couple who are in the same boat as yourselves and I imagine there are many many more.

We are travelling down in Sept for 6 weeks,just wondering if you have ever tried the Uk - Santander route and if so your opinion compared to via France route.

So this trip you're on isn't eating into your 90/180 days. I'm assuming your UK citizens with UK passports?
I would have thought that when they scan your passport it would log your entry into the country??

You would think so but I'm not sure our passport can carry that info.
Spain is putting an ink stamp in every passport on the way in and out.

If you go from Portsmouth its about 6-8 hours longer than Plymouth believe it or not.This is due to speed they go in the English channel.
It takes us 8 hours to drive to our place in La Romana from Santander.
If the sea is calm its a decent jounrney although the ferry we were on was basic, but they did have a bar!
There is not much differnce in price if you go by toll roads, i think it worked out about £1200 return with fuel going through France with no stop- overs thats including the Tunnel which was £200.
