You would think so but I'm not sure our passport can carry that info.
Spain is putting an ink stamp in every passport on the way in and out.
That's really depressing after decades of freedom.

Driving down is very easy, we leave London around 11 in the morning, eurotunnel over to France, stop in Rouen which is about 3 hours from Calais, stop in St Jean de Luz about 500 miles, and then straight onto Spain the following day arriving in ElGalan around 5.30, and we stop at least every 2 ho...

Yes the QR code is a print from the NHS web site, we did see the car in front showing the QR code on their phones at the Eurotunnel French check points
just bought a property in el galan last feb and was thinking of doing this my self, what was the rough cost for fuel and did you use the toll roads in France. Did you stop over or just drive straight down with just wee breaks.

Hi, we use the toll motorways in France and Spain, rough cost about about £120 each way, we also have a toll tag for France and Spain, well worth the cost which isn’t very much. If you decide to get one do it through the Eurotunnel web site as it’s a bit cheaper.
We stop twice, Rouen and St Jean Deluz, we used to stop only once, but if there’s a delay at Eurotunnel you end up chasing your tail all the way to Bordeaux which is about the midway point, we now catch the 11.30 ish train and drive to Rouen, about 3 hours, the following 2 days are approx 500 miles each, we stop every couple of hours to let the dogs have a walk around.
We try to avoid buying fuel on the motorway, full tank in uk, refill again in Rouen Carrefour PFS nearby, we then have to put in about 15 euros worth towards the end of day 2, we then fill up at the second pfs in Spain cheaper than the first. Total fuel each way about £200.
hope this helps.

Thanks for the information very helpful 👍😉
We are travelling to spain in a couple of months to spain with a dog who has a Spanish passport and rabies and injections all up to date. Is there anything else we need to do like getting the worm tablet in the UK before we sail or is there just nothing to do?
Many thanks,
Warren.

Hi, I don’t think there is, we used to get our worming tablets in the uk, but I believe they are cheaper from our Spanish vet, don’t forget the protection against sand flies and ticks, we use scalibor collars, which we do purchase in the uk as they need a couple of weeks to start working.
