Hi

Can anyone help I have a wasps nest just outside my window do you know of anyone who can get rid of this for 

me.  My villa is in the finestrat area.

Ant powder will kill them. Just put on the entry of the nest without being stung. They will take it into the nest and in a few days they will be all gone.

Thanks for your advise.  The wasps are massive i'm scared to death of being stung

I had them too and had to use a ladder to spray the stuff on entry and I did not want to get stung either. I used some rubber gloves but no stingers got me. they only enter every few minutes so be quick and get the job done.

Letoy Merlin has a spray can treatment for dealing with wasp nests. Its not cheap but does the job. Do it at dusk when they are less active, but if using a torch, keep it away from you as it will attract them.

Chances are you've already returned from Leroy Merlin but if not, I think the product Herefordjack refers to is Preben Avispas. It worked wonders for us and us well worth the cost.
