Monday Update :  arrived at the office at 8:10 ! Already 3 people inline. Quite a few by 9am. Policía who came to open the gate failed on masks ! One wasn’t even wearing a mask  , the other keeping his chin warm ! What an example ! 🤦‍♀️

Anyway , there seems to be 2 sides to the barricade they put out. One for appointments one for not.  In any case , I stood on the “recuerdo tarjeta “ side and was taken right in with the 3 ahead. . There are then 2 inside lines - appts or collecting cards. There were 2 people attending i...

...nside the collections room. I presented my letter and the chap located my card. This morning it was still saying batch 116 were the latest ready .

Fingerprints are taken again and he asked for my passport.

All good and back out by ten past 9!
oh and, yes, the wording is correct !

Hi Cfell63

Brilliant!  Thanks Cfell63.  Would you mind sharing the wording you have on your card please?  It would be interesting to know whether they've sorted out the problem where they were issuing TIEs with incorrect wording.  Thanks again.

Kind regards,

Kim

Thx Cfell, does it say "Articulo 50 UE" on the other side?

If they put "trabajo" on mine, I'm taking it back! 😄

Congratulations! 🍻

Best wishes,

Kim

Collected our cards this morning and all valid until 06 09 2025 :)

Not sure where the lote is upto but we were 119 and they were ready to collect.

Now we can move onto the driving licenses :)

We're pretty impressed given we only arrived in Spain late July - applied online for our EX20 on September 7th then EX23 meeting - so around 1 month start to finish, although I suspect our cards only arrived in the collection office today, and saved ourselves the gestor fees.

Congratulations Lancelot! 🍾🥂

I was telling friends at the weekend how easy it is to do the EX-23 and that I'd be happy to help them to do it.  Turns out they got theirs back in August - at a cost of €200 each!  I have a case of wine winging it's way from Navarre paid with what I saved 😄😉
